Return Policy

Returns

All sales are final. The only exception to this is if your product arrives damaged due to shipping. In the event that your product is delivered damaged, please email me and I will be happy to assist you. The policy lasts 5 days. Please be sure to contact Smith & Pedersen Millinery within 5 days of your package being delivered.

With this is mind, please read carefully the instructions of how to measure your head size and find the correct hat size for you.

If a return has been granted, your eligibility will be dependent upon the item's state. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. 

Additional non-returnable items:
Gift cards
Hat accessories
Bespoke headwear

To complete your return, a receipt or proof of purchase will be required.
Any item that is returned to Smith & Pedersen Millinery more than 30 days after delivery, will be ineligible for return.

Refunds

Smith & Pedersen Millinery does not offer refunds. Please contact for further information.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Items may only be replaced if they are defective or damaged and cannot be repaired. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send an email to smithandpedersenmillinery@gmail.com and I will gladly assist you with the process.

Gifts
Everyone should be in love with their hat! If you are looking to get someone you know an amazing hat, awesome! Since hats are such a personal accessory, I recommend going with a gift certificate so that your friend/loved one can find the hat of their dreams!

Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
